Capacitive electric furnaces. Electricity is used for occasional heating with sheet metal, capacityless stoves and for the most hygienic floor and ceiling heating.
Recently, there has been an effort to use electric current to heat storage heaters as well.
The figure shows a portable electric furnace with medium heat capacity, the structure of the author of the book. This oven has dimensions 1,5 X2.5X3 tiles have 8 chamotte channels for heating elements, 8 channels for heat dissipation through the heated wall of the channel through the openings to the outside. With its external surface, the stove transfers heat to the room through radiation and convection, the inner walls of the channels dissipate heat through 8 circulation channels with increased convection with blowing, because every channel has 2 holes, (down and up).
The heating surface of this furnace, totals 2,5 m2. The furnace can be wheeled for easy transport.
Heating with electric stoves has many advantages over gas, like a simple structure, low installation cost, no combustion process, unnecessary chimneys for the discharge of combustion products, non-polluting the air in the premises, safety and ease of use and operation.
Only the high cost of electricity limits the use of electricity on a larger scale for heating homes. However, in many countries there are efforts to reduce the cost of electricity.
